Then I would mingle with the idea of custom 50Hz horn “for the room”. John looks like stick his trapped horns, Jessie made his horn that is in a way too good to be true. I do not have room for 50Hz but if I had then I would probably experiment with s...

Jessie, we keep meeting at the same intersection. Like I said before, I agree that direct radiators suck, for all the reasons you cited. But if what you say about horns is strictly and completely true, then does it not follow in spades at ever lower...

Jessie’s comments about my idea to position midbass straight horns from basement, upper- firing and his warning that the horn will get converted into a giant garbage can made me to think. I did not think about it but it is a reasonable concern. Hypo...

You might also want to try stiffened felt, which seemed to work "as well" as the paper for me, and it is easier to form. Just saturate the pre-shaped felt with runny "paste", whether gluten/starch or methyl cellulose, milk glue, etc. Spray starch ...

Is it possible that there are better and worse sounding versions of iTunes?Since 2004 I've been using iTunes together with a Mac computer and the very addictive Wavelength Cosecant DAC as the main source "component" in a system consisting of horns dr...

Jessie, your post catches me thinking about multi-channel driver matching, as well. I am not familiar with the Fanes, but I wonder if simply throwing more power at them would make them nothing more than louder, so they would then "match" the res...

I spent today some time to finish my Multicell as I am not able to look at it if it not black. First that I discovered is that it is irrelevant how it painted at throat as horns is so deep that it dark in there anyhow. Jessie’s idea to fill up the c...

Thank you Ulf and Jessie,
I can't wait to get this started. Jessie I am going to send this plaster spec to my supplier and see if I can find something close..
In the past I would use plaster for creating a wax form.. then put the wax form into a s...

Jessie was very right talking about therapeutic influence of audio projects.
I do not know why buy I feel very much attached and really feel personally the various micro events that I are going on with my current 6-channel Supper Milq project. ...

Thank you for the lesson in metalurgy, Jessie (seriously). Actually I have no reason to believe that the bronze horn in question rings "like a bell" "when struck" in the same way a real bell rings when struck, so that does seem to put ...

Jessie, the "Horn Free Lunch" derives exactly and specifically from "efficiency" registered at frequencies much higher than those ultimately required from the driver in the horn speaker. The horn is there only to provide "gain" at lower frequencies...

Well, Jessie, I think you're exercising a wishful thinking but you have, I think, a wrong subject for your thinking. Neither Lamm nor any other high-end manufacture care about result as a concept but rather a result as product. A product b...
